This 3Nights and 4Days of tour discovers you the three most famous attractive and historical places of the country; Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. They are known for their spectacular architectural structures and majestic buildings and colourful culture. These three cities are full of sophisticated spots like TajMahal in Agra, Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, the Red Fort in Delhi and many highlights for you to remember and cherish forever!
In the beginning of the tour, you will explore Delhi, the capital city of India, and many Mughal and colonial monuments. Then you will travel down to Agra where you will find yourself falling in love with some amazing architectural wonders, especially the TajMahal. Finally, you will explore the colourful city, Jaipur, where you have many brilliant creations of the ancient India to wonder yourself. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your location in Delhi. You have the freedom to customize this trip but we suggest you to plan with us at the earliest.
Although this tour takes you to completely three different cities of India but offers you incredible flavours, architecture, beautiful colours and sound which you can keep with you for the rest of your life!
ARRIVAL & REST
Our bonified representative will pick you upon your arrival at the Airport/Railway Station and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is for yourself. You may relax or take rest or walk around the interesting city or the markets.
Day -1
DELHI TOUR
You may be ready for the city tour after your morning breakfast. Our representative will meet you at the Hotel and guide you through the rest of the day. Today you will discover the city of Delhi, where you will explore country's largest Jama Masjid , the vibrant market of the city Chandini Chowk, and the Red Fort, historic Fort that served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors, Raj Ghat the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the famous Lotus Temple, the tall standing Qutub Minar, The Presidents House and India Gate.
Jama Masjid: Jama Masjid is the largest in the country and the primary mosque of the city, the place where the Muslims gather for their communal prayer. Built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan of red stone and marble it stands tall in the dominating the sky at the center of City.
Chandini Chowk: One of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi, is also known as the Moonlight Square also built by Shahjahan. It got its name from the pool that was situated in the center of the place that reflected the moon in the night. It is also known as the shopper's paradise in a true sense. The kind of variety you get here is unmatchable and mostly reasonable price. You will find wide variety of items in the shops including clothes, jewelry, candles, perfumes, lifestyle items, etc.
Red Fort: When Mughal Emperor Shahjahan decided to shift his residence from Agra to Delhi, he commissioned this Red Fort. The same architect who designed the TajMahal originally portrayed it and built in red and white stones. The first prime minister of India raised the Indian Flag for the first time at the Lahori Gate of the Fort. It is continued on every Independence Day till today.
Raj-Ghat: It is a memorial dedicated to the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. A black marble platform built at the cremation spot of Gandhiji on the banks of river Yamuna.
Lotus Temple: A marvelous architectural structure in a lotus shape is actually a 'House of Prayer'. It is now prominent attraction for visitors all around the world because of its unique shape or style.
Qutub Minar: The tallest brick minaret and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was initiated by Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak. It has five stories built in different times and represents different historical events. This monument is a fine example of Mughal era architecture and craftmanship.
Rashtrapati Bhavan (The President House): Rashtrapati Bhavan, home to the president of India, the worlds largest democracy. It situates in the western end of Rajpath, reveals the country's strength, traditions and secularism.
India Gate: India Gate is a war memorial situated on the eastern side of the Rajpath. It reminds of the British India soldiers who died in wars. A structure on black marble plinth with a reversed rifle, capped by a war helmet and bounded by four eternal flames, built beneath the archway later on called Amar Jawan Jyoti. On every republic day the Prime Minister pay tribute the soldiers at this spot.
That wind up the tour of Delhi and you will be dropped back to your hotel. You can enjoy the delicious food at the restaurant in the Hotel or else you can choose to try some street food or other restaurants nearby.
DAY-2
DELHI — AGRA
Have your breakfast at the earliest and be ready to head to Agra in a comfortable air-conditioned private vehicle. Our driver will make sure that you will have a worry-free and safe journey.
Agra is a major tourist attraction of the country as it houses three of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites; TajMahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Apart from that there are many other monuments and structure one does not want to miss. History, architecture, the famous love story or romance makes Agra a must visit place for anyone visiting India.
On arrival, check in to your hotel. Fresh up and have an early lunch and relax before you start tour of the day. Your first destination is the Agra Fort, the former royal residence of the Mughal Dynasty. Then you will explore the Etimad-ud-Daula believed to be the inspiration behind the TajMahal. At the end of the day, you will have the option to either go back to your hotel and have rest or else you can choose to explore the vibrant local markets of Agra which is known for its handicrafts, marble cravings, souvenirs, leather and variety of food and sweets.
Agra Fort: Popularly described as the walled city, Agra Fort is known for its rich history. This architectural masterpiece is built by Mughal Emperor Akbar of red sand stone. As you visit this fort, you will be amazed to the intricate carvings and pure stones that are used and the views of the Yamuna River and the TajMahal from the balconies will leave you astonished.
Etimad-Ud-Daula: It was the first Tomb to be built by the Mughals completely in Marble embraced by a decent size of garden and intersecting pathways on the banks of Yamuna. This tomb is locally known as the Baby Taj as it is believed to be inspiration behind the commissioning of TajMahal.
Markets(Optional): Agra is also known for its leather products and the famous Peta (Sweet) and experience of shopping in its streets and markets. It has many marble products, handicrafts, souvenirs etc. which you can take home for memory.
There you complete the day tour and will be accompanied to your hotel. You may have time of rest and have your dinner at the Hotel or choose to go out and find your dinner of your choice.
DAY-3
AGRA —JAIPUR
Rise up early morning to see the TajMahal on sunrise. Morning is one of the best times to visit as there are less visitors which allows you to capture some of the best moments of TAJ. It gives great view of the Taj as the sunlight falls on the dome of the building giving soft red shade to the structure.
TajMahal: It is built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan for his beloved wife who died during giving birth to her child. It is a white marble beauty and one of the seven wonders of the world. It presently houses both Mumtaz and Shahjahan's tomb.
After the amazing Taj Visit, you will come back to your hotel for fresh-up and breakfast. Then check out your hotel to head to Jaipur. Enroute to Jaipur you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri to explore another Mughal Structure built by Emperor Akbar.
Fatehpur Sikri Fort: It sits on a rocky hill surrounded by walls on three sides with the fourth covered by a lake. This architectural giant includes palaces, courts, masjids, and other structures. The red stone city was constructed in a combination of Persian and Indian architecture. Akbar had to abandon this city due to the shortage of water and frequent wars.
After the visit to the city of victory, resume your journey to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your choice.
DAY-4
JAIPUR TOUR
Jaipur is founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh back in 1727 and popularly known as the Pink City of India due to its colour scheme of the buildings. It offers you beautiful laid out gardens, parks, breath taking monuments and structures. The city is home to two of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
After the breakfast at the Hotel, our representative will guide through the city. You will start with Amber Fort, a huge palace sits atop of a small hill, and then to the Hawa Mahal, a crown shaped structure originally built for the royal ladies to observe the processions and markets. You may have a stopover for lunch as you wish in one of the local restaurants. Thereafter, you will explore the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories of India.
Amber Fort: It is a major attraction of Jaipur, also known as Amar Palace, built by Raja Man Singh is a marvelous structure to watch. Built with red stone and marble, the palace was used as the main royal residence to the Rajput Maharajas.
Hawa Mahal: ( Also known as the palace of breeze is an extended building of City Palace. The windows at this palace allowed the ladies to watch processions and activities in local streets without being seen by the public.
City Palace/Jantar Mantar: City Palace and Jantar Mantar are situated close to each other. You could reach either of them by foot from the other. City Palace is the palace of Maharaj after they had shifted their residence from the Amber Fort, where as the Jantar Mantar was built is a collection of astronomical instruments by the Rajput ruler Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II who showed interest in mathematics and astronomy.
Towards the end of the day, you can opt for a local bazar sight-seeing or shopping or else return back to hotel and stay overnight.
DAY-5
JAIPUR — DELHI
After the breakfast, you will pack up to check out the hotel and return back to Delhi. Our driver will safely drive you back to your hotel or airport or your desired location in Delhi. We are sure that you will be carrying a lot of unforgettable and thrilling moments out of this trip.
